The IT Business Analyst enables IT to become a high added value partner for the business. He works in close collaboration with the business stakeholders in order to: • Gather needs and translate strategic and tactical business goals into added value solutions aligned with global value realization objectives. • Proactively engage the business and able to find creative solutions to business opportunities. • Deliver solutions that contribute to bottom line business results through applying a broad enterprise view and a solid understanding of the business processes. • Interpret and challenge regional business requests for strategic alignment with global enterprise goals.
Business analyst area: Works with Business Value Realization network (Global process Owners, Regional process owners and PUs) in order to understand enterprise business objectives. Participates in business cases and challenges alternatives based on criteria aligned with Business value realization goals. Supports Local Power users and Regional process owner with a deep understanding on how SAP solutions support local business processes. Coordinates with Local PU to provide problem resolution and implementation of changes and enhancements activities in support of a global enterprise utilizing SAP. Technical SAP knowledge of Finance and controlling (FI/CO), Sales and distribution (SD), Order to cash (OTC), Plan To Report (PTR) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions is required. Provides local technical support and serves as a subject matter expert for the SAP FI/CO and SD modules understanding integration aspects with other modules (such as PP/DS, MM, PP and QM) Understand the business opportunities, evaluates and recommends alternatives by identifying selection criteria and assessing alternatives against the criteria, including performing financial analysis of all alternatives and aligned with Business Value realization objectives. Elicit, document, and finalize business requirements (e.g. processes, data, business rules, functions, etc.) Identify alternatives in context of business opportunity and business processes Ensure business requirements are met Within the context of projects, understands and convey the Information Protection requirements needed for current and new solutions to ensure that IP compliance is fulfill. Recommends and implements alternatives solutions to mitigate the identified risks during the project. Understands change management implications of the alternatives. Demonstrates the ability to model, analyze and identify creative and doable engineered/re-engineered optimized business processes to address customer business requirements Business Process – able to diagnose complex development and operational problems and develop change management processes. Makes complex, extensive material clear and engaging. Able to recommend changes and improvements to overall enterprise. Recognizes business change and initiates appropriate technology changes. Prepares, validates, improves, and reengineers function/ process models. Experienced in working with application development analysts, in order to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into IT technical solution specifications Actively participates as business management team member. Uses appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team; facilitates the completion of team and function goals. Identifies opportunities and takes action to build strategic relationships between one’s area and other areas, teams, departments, units, or organizations to help achieve business goals. Represent company interests and coordinate with external industry committees for IT solutions. Ability to understand strategy and align tactical and strategic work in a well-balanced way. Experience in defining and translating end user requirements into application solutions Demonstrated experience in working with customers and team members in all phases of solutions development Demonstrates the ability to support the development of test scripts, test scenarios, and facilitating UAT. Leads the development of user documentation, and training materials. Key player and significant contributor within the Oronite Business Analyst Forum (OBAF). Contributes significantly in regard to methods and best practices.
Project Management area: Good understanding of tools and methodologies to manage projects Experience in providing direction and assessing results. Assure projects are implemented per a detailed schedule on time, on quality and on budget. Incorporate new processes and lessons learned. Develops change initiatives across multiple organizations in response to business goals cultural needs and partners with others to ensure success. Anticipates the impact and communicates the benefits of change Manages project, business and risks |

Business Analyst or Solutions Consulting experience required (6 years in this position) SAP experiences required (6 years) in different functional modules and E2E solutions. Proficiency in French and English Competent at working in a multi-cultural environment Travel is required for the position, mainly in Paris (Headquarter). |
