Role:
You will be working in the Worldwide Enterprise Services Operations (WW ESO) organization as a core member of the global leadership team, which is responsible for providing operational support to the Enterprise Services Business as well as processing over $3.2billion in annual revenue.

The EMEA Director based in Dublin reports directly to the Global Enterprises Services Operations Director, you will lead an organization of 90 FTEs plus vendor staff and will be accountable for the execution of the Enterprise Services Operations business objectives, planning and fiscal year budgeting and cost management.

As the EMEA Director, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of the global leadership team and play a key role in building a new organization and operating model to support the Enterprises Services business across the region. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination and strong communication skills, the individual will need to be able to work confidently within a matrix organization to build consensus and shared goals whilst taking a proactive approach to ensure early participation in strategic initiatives

We're looking for a senior leader who can build strong relationships with Field clients and counterparts, understand Microsoft’s and the Enterprise Services vision and strategy, and drive relevant discussions including development of the business and operational capabilities that directly enable and support the growth in the Services business in EMEA.

Responsibilities
Organizational Strategy
Lead the EMEA centralization of operational activities into the European Operations Centre in Ireland working closing with the Project Boulder team.
Build the EMEA Services Operations Organization, ensuring that the ROC is resourced and ready to support the Services business
Execute the EMEA BPO Services strategy
ctive member of the Commercial Leadership Team within the EOC.

People Management:
Lead and motivate a team of Managers and Operation Specialists.
Drive the People Potential strategy and be responsible for the overall health of the Enterprise Services Operations Organization.
Ensure Microsoft Values are adhered to and promote a culture of diversity, openness and inclusiveness.

Field Engagement:
Develop and execute the Field Engagement Framework and business reviews (Rhythm of Business (RoB)) at the Area level.
Ensure the Operations strategies, goals and commitments are aligned to support the Area. Participate in the RoB and conduct quarterly Business Operations Review with Functional Stakeholders
Drive Field First Initiatives to increase engaged selling time and maximize field productivity by reducing the time spent on non-selling activities.
Manage monthly reporting and communication to Area & Subsidiary Services Leadership teams and other key influencers

Business Management
Fiscal Budgeting / Planning & Operational P&L responsibility for Operations, managing a cost base in excess of $18M.
Ensure that Operations adheres to all policy & SOX rules and regulations, assuring a compliant operational environment for the processing and recognition of circa $1.4BN of annual revenue
Ensure that Operational performance adheres to all scorecard metrics
Develop & maintain excellent communication with other ROC’s, to facilitate the sharing of best practices, and alignment with corporate direction, ensuring that EMEA is seen to be providing thought leadership and positively contributing to WW direction.
Develop a culture of continuous operational improvement, through process improvement and business re-engineering and ensuring the cost effective design of offerings / programs in co-operation with WW & EMEA teams.
Conduct Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews with Global Services Operations Leadership.
Manage monthly reporting and communication to Area & Subsidiary Services Leadership teams and other key influencers
Effectively manage virtual teams internally & externally ensuring congruence of goals and hence of objectives
Development of effective SLAs with support functions in support of business objectives.

It also requires the ability to understand how to improve the way things get done through effective planning and process improvements.
A degree in Business or similar is required (BComm, BBS, etc).
