Facility Manager (f/m) EMEA - subregion France/Iberia

The Global Facility Management organization takes care of SAP's Global Real Estate Portfolio and operational Facility Management (FM). The different departments attends to tasks in the area of Real Estate such as contract negotiations and rental agreements as well as the realization of technical and constructional major projects relating to Facility Management. Global Facility Management (GFM) is also responsible for operating the SAP Data Centers and Office Buildings.

- Manage facility operations, security and project activity in the Sub-Region
- Report activity to FM-Head of Region EMEA and local CFO's
- Coordinate alignment of activity with GFM metrics and Lines of Business direction and goals.
- Build and maintain a strong team that will provide first class facility service, including both direct team and contractors to set clear objectives, monitor and report activity, and to insure delivery by maximizing the resources.
- Establish solid relationships with internal and external service providers, Business Partners and Executives.
- Hire and manage contractors or personnel for projects and operations for each location within the Sub-Region.
- Lead ongoing collaboration and partnership with regional shared service providers of HR, IT, Procurement and Finance.
- Produce procedural documentation and oversight for security.
- Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets for each facility and monitor and measure success as it relates to KPIs
- Will require high level of budget responsibility and to provide decisions that have high impact.
- Negotiation of fee and service arrangements with professional firms and contract vendors, in coordination with GPO.
- Coordinate project activity of new office construction, office renovations and building repairs.
- Represent and participate in facilities related topics managing relationship with relevant Worker’s Counsel as partner with HR
- Translate/Interpret documents to/from English/French as required to finalize contracts and report activity and results to regional CFO's and FM/GFM organizations.

- University degree / Master preferred and/or adequate experience
- English and French fluent both written and oral, with Spanish, Portuguese or German additional benefit
- Functional knowledge of various aspects of Facility and Project Management
- Change management and personnel management
- Financial Analysis and reporting of facilities management statistics
- Ability to manage capital and operational expense budgets
- Build relationships to manage user needs and expectations
- Experience with space management, design, and implementation of flexible office solutions, such as desk sharing.
- Negotiation skills of contracts and local vendor services
- Ability to set best practices and guidelines
- Executive presence
- Strong leadership skills with ability to build a team, relationships and trust.
Previous experience in personnel management.
- Demonstrated experience in facilities operations and projects, preferred in France and Iberia, and ability to manage a large portfolio of office ranging in size from Serviced offices to large operational locations in excess of 12,000 M2.
- 5-10 years of managerial responsibility with relevant facility experience
