• Working in partnership with the European HR Teams, and the store management teams to grow the Apple Brand through unparalleled customer service, store contribution, and profitability • Working in partnership with Market Leaders and Store management teams to ensure Apple is an Employer of Choice within the French market. The HRM will work closely with US HR partners, the European HR Team, the SSC in Cork and the France Apple HR team .
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Culture Re-enforce Apple culture, values and standards at all times, to ensure store climate is positive and productive, re-enforcing Apple credo and culture Ensure all minimum legal requirements are met at all times and are delivered in alignment with Apple communications style. Use and re-enforce the Fearless Feedback style of discussion
2. Leadership and Talent Management • Present as a role model for leadership at all times • Partner with Market Leaders and Store Managers to ensure a succession plan exists and is updated quarterly Partner with Market Leaders and HRM Europe to establish a full understanding of the French succession plan
3. Organisation Design and Development • Partner with Market Leaders and store management teams to explore changing business needs and the implications of these for the organisation design and structure • Develop options and recommendations for organisation changes • Explore and define the implications of any changes to include legal and change management changes • Develop and manage the change management plan for organisational changes, coaching Managers as required.
4. Communications • Ensure all staff understand the structure and content of the French HR web • Ensure all HR communications are clear and unambiguous • Partner with Market Leaders to deliver quarterly Town Hall meetings • Partner with HR Europe to deliver Employee Forum, coaching representatives to be able to deliver their responsibilities • Partner with Store Managers to ensure they have a deep understanding of HR opportunities, issues and metrics
5. Performance Management/Merit Review • Ensure full understanding of the performance management and metrics processes • Communicate the process to all Managers and staff • Define any additional training requirements not available on the HR web and discuss with the RFT • Evaluate merit ratings with Market Leaders ensuring a full understanding of any exceptions • Ensuring all appropriate documents are distributed • Meeting the agreed timetable • Coach Managers and as appropriate staff on performance expectations, benefits, and HR policies and procedures • Partner with Managers to understand and manage poor performance issues • Establish a culture of regular reviews for all people
6. Backfill Resourcing and Recruitment • Ensure all open positions are advertised and owned by management team. • Fulfill vacancy requirements, working with store management team and Regional recruiter. • Meet all Apple policy requirements in respect of internal and external selection. • Ensure all those involved in hiring understand the legal requirements
7. Compensation and Benefits • Understand and contribute to market pay bands and administration guidelines. • Partner with Managers to administer these guidelines properly • Partner with C&B Analyst to develop and implement Apple policies
8. Training Work closely with RFT to recommend, develop, and facilitate relevant training programmes To deliver training on Leadership, including Lominger, coaching, Myers Briggs, policy changes and so on.
9. HR Administration • Manage Merlin processes (requisitions, candidate tracking, offers, bonuses, salary adjustments, terminations, job changes and so on), working closely with the SSC in Cork • Partner with HRIS HRM to identify process improvement opportunities and opportunities to leverage Cork resources and infrastructure. • Ensure all HR documentation is current and legally compliant • Partner with Cork to ensure employee record requirements are met
10. Additional • Is proactive in identifying and communicating innovative ideas which potentially enhance our position as an Employer of Choice and improve effectiveness and performance • Participates in calls and meetings, within and external to the Store • Communicates positively with staff, customers, channel partners and all Apple partners at all times • Completes projects as agreed by Market Leaders and HR Europe • Contributing to and writing reports as required • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures • Protects all company assets • Accountable for their store/assigned areas financial and overall performance and Staff development |
