PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES - Sales negotiations to meet/exceed Budget per product line - Meet regularly and manage customers in both Industrial Starches and Sweeteners Segments - Support and Execute the price policy to achieve the budgeted profit - Monitor Customer payment performances to ensure the target of DSO under control - Support Competitor Intelligence activity and collect Market Share information's to ensure database update - Support central & local activities with Key and International Customers and meet timelines and targets - Ensure Forecast Accuracy and Business Rules done to meet timeline and targets - Support and promote NBD projects and Innovation to ensure profitable growth
ENVIRONMENT - Proactively monitor and analyze competitor activities and market dynamics - Remain close to customer and consumer/market trends, in order to maintain customer focus
PROBLEM SOLVING - Independent thinking is required for daily activity - The candidate must be able to organize himself customer visits and planning the activity according with priorities and targets - A minimum training could be provided to ensure procedures understanding
DECISION - MAKING RESPONSIBILITY - All opportunities within the minimum required target should be taken independently (i.e. contract with price in line or above target) - Just below target should be kept on hold right the time to discuss with the Sales Manager - Big deviances should be immediately referred to Sales Manager
POSITION CONTACTS - With Customers daily; according with targets - With Sales Manager; once a week to report on activity and/or discuss opportunities/issues - With Sales Team; ad hoc when in office for admin work and/or formal meetings - With Central Management and Key Account Managers; ad hoc when required
POSITION CHALLENGES - The aim is to follow customers in different business areas such as Industrial and Food (i.e. selling starch to paper producer and glucose to soft drink producer at same time) - The candidate should be able to keep the business on track following the fast changing of Market and dynamics/environment - Managing portfolio complexity is a key to success

- University Degree or equivalent. Business School or Engineer in Chemical, Mechanical or Agronomic or Food Preparations - 5 to 7 years of proven experience in Sales (if possible commodities and/or ingredients) - Experience in Technical assistance would be preferred but is not essential - French mother tongue and fluent in English written and spoken
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND / OR SKILLS - Strong commercial attitude and relationship builder - "Play to Win" mentality - Ability to work in Team composed by people of different backgrounds and perspectives - Good oral written communication ability with good presentation skills
