| Financial Manager - Airbus Segment Consolidation (m/f) |

You will be part of the consolidation team (5 persons in Toulouse and 2 persons in Bremen), which is jointly accountable for the delivery of Airbus Segment consolidated statements in accordance with overall quality and timetable requirements. You will directly report to the Head of Consolidation FLCC, within the trans-national department of Head of Consolidation and Financial Statements FLC.
Under the Head of Consolidation’s control, you will have to deliver consolidated Financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L and related analysis and comments) for the Airbus Segment perimeter: - Monthly for management purposes, - Quarterly (with the related notes) for EADS consolidation and financial communication. - Annually as a service provider to the Operating Plan Team. TasksYou will have to: - Monitor the consolidation process through: the definition of the perimeter (entities, integration methods…), the compliance with the corporate chart of accounts (including analytical breakdowns required for business control) and relative validation rules, the management of segment closing time schedule and the review of related entities’ statements… Accordingly, you will work in close relationship with the consolidated Core Commercial and Military entities (local Head of Accounting) and Subsidiaries (including Aerolia and Premium) with a co-ordination, quality validation, advice and check-up role. - Perform the Airbus segment and Military sub-segment consolidation and be responsible for the quality of delivered information: elimination entries, currency conversion, and consolidation of investments … - Ensure equity reconciliation at consolidated level and be the day-to-day interface with external auditors for supply of financial data for Airbus segment and Military sub-segment closings. Airbus Segment and Military Sub-Segment consolidation is currently performed in the FACTS system. You will actively support future system developments (PACE +) - Be responsible for delivering required information to the Shareholders - Be the interface with EADS consolidation Department and manage the reconciliation process with affiliated entities.
REMARKS & MAJOR PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED IN THE POSITION The Airbus Segment consolidation is complex due to: - The Segment dimensions (financial, industrial and geographical) - The features of aircraft business and Airbus segment organization with different sets of problems (industrial and financing, high development costs and long cycle production…) and a shared contribution to common products with high inter-company flows. - Several currencies to integrate and hedging policies to deal with, different local GAAPs - Internal consolidation thresholds to manage - Variety of system applications (eg BCS and FACTS) Airbus Segment and Military Sub-Segment consolidation has to face strong expectations: - From the Airbus management as current market situation and on-going projects reinforce the need for quick and accurate financial visibility, - From EADS due to the weight of the Airbus Segment in the overall group. |

You are a Qualified Professional Accountant (Master degree preferred) and you have developed 5 to 10 years experience at least. You have also a proven experience in Audit as a Senior Auditor in a Consulting Company and you have: - Audit experience (external) preferred - Analytical and computer system skills - Interpersonal skills / Relationship skills - Ability to work in a multicultural environment In addition, - You are able to defend your point of view and the department priorities - You are diplomatic An very good level in French as well as in English is expected. |
