The role holder will be responsible for developing and managing all corporate brand reputation in France. In addition, the successful candidate will work with the Director of EU Corporate Communication on programmes with eBay in San Jose and in the rest of Europe. Specifically, the role holder will:
- Develop and execute corporate brand reputation strategies, tactical plans and communication programmes in France in support of eBay activities.
- Work closely and collaboratively with existing PR and Seller Communications team in France to enhance eBay’s reputation as an industry leader and respected organisation.
- Partner closely with eBay Buyer and Seller teams to develop Business, Entrepreneur and Empowerment programmes in France to ensure that eBay’s heritage as a major contributor as an economic force for good is appropriately recognised by key stakeholders.
- Be an external advocate for eBay in partnership with Government Relations, Law Enforcement and Legal with key opinion formers, such as Government and Non-Governmental Organisations, which may include representing eBay on industry groups, speaking platforms and within key partnerships.
Issue Management: France
The role holder will be responsible for devising and managing a French Issue Management process designed to protect eBay’s brand and corporate reputation in times of adversity or crisis. Specifically, the role holder will:
- Develop an effective issue management process, which involves PR, GR, Legal and business owners, to respond quickly and effective to brand and corporate reputation threats.
- Maintain an ongoing level of preparedness by developing a programme of media training, updating key messages and ensuring that emerging threats are identified and action is taken to mitigate them.

Experience in business partnering senior executives
Experience in public speaking and representing groups in public forums |
