Symantec is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the EMEA sales finance director, based in Paris, La Défense.
• Be the primary Finance support for the Western Vice President. Management team and regional sales teams to include all direct and indirect and overlay sales teams.
• Lead the weekly collection and presentation of forecast information to the VP and sales management teams.
• Provision of daily dashboards to management team showing performance and other KPI’s
• Provision of monthly victory plan information for management team, detailing both finance KPI’s and other business metrics
• Work to automate daily information through business objects medium
• Ownership of the regional quota roll out annual process, to include provision of all data to aid setting of quotas, verification of quotas, working with commissions team to ensure all quotas are accurately rolled.
• Throughout the year monitoring of quotas and verification of any requests for quota changes.
Monitoring of the Sales KSO process and ensuring they are submitted on time and paid correctly by the commissions team
• Interpret, explain and enforce the compensation plan rules. Be available to answer questions from the sales reps related to their revenue, compensation plans and commission payments.
• Be able to support decision making by compiling relevant analyses when requested.
• To build a relationship with other finance staff in the Company to ensure best practice always followed and share ideas. |

• Accounting finalist or newly qualified.
• Previous experience in a Sales Support / Operations decision making environment and/or a multi-national finance environment. Previous experience in large US IT company also an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential together with a good understanding of other MS Office software packages, experience of business objects a distinct advantage
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work well under pressure. Strong problem solving and analytic skills. |
